Interview with...Jayne Bunce

By Jayne Bunce, ASID, CID

"I feel that powder rooms should hold elements of surprise. This rustic, organic space has cantilevered overlapping concrete counters, copper plumbing fixtures, and a back lit suspended mirror in front of a textured glass tile wall, all giving an amazing, unexpected experience."  "When I design a kitchen for my clients, functionality comes first! Understanding the details of the household is key. I spend much time asking questions that uncover client needs and requirements, desires and dreams before even starting to draw. This large island is perfect for making cookies, gathering a crowd, or eating an after school snack. The  far cabinets are "lockers" for the childrens' backpacks, coats and chargers. And it is all wrapped in graceful cream cabinetry with applied moldings and gorgeous green granite counters." Jayne Bunce, ASID, CID
